NEW TECHNOLOGIES WE USE

SOLUTIONS FOR CHRONIC PAIN

COLD RADIOFREQUENCY PRODUCTS

It is the only thermal RF system currently known to use water-cooled technology to deactivate sensory nerves that cause pain. The safe delivery of more RF energy through water-cooled electrodes creates large-volume, spherical-shaped lesions that project distally 45% beyond the probe tip to allow for angular independence of the probe.

Clinically proven to provide up to 24 months of pain relief, improved physical function and reduced drug use.

Thermal Pain Camera

This novel technology allows us to precisely identify the area affected by pain.

Thermal imaging cameras provide thermal images that make it possible to visualize how an object radiates heat by recording the temperature of each pixel in the image, and assigning each pixel (containing a temperature value) a color tone.

Typically thermal images show cooler temperatures in a shade of blue, violet or green, while warmer temperatures may be assigned a shade of red, orange or yellow.

Thermal cameras detect temperature by capturing different levels of infrared light, invisible to the human eye, which is radiated by objects. The hotter an object is, the more infrared radiation it produces. Thermal cameras can detect this radiation and convert it into an image.

Ultrasound in Pain

Therapeutic ultrasound is used to diagnose inflammatory areas, areas of peripheral nerve injury, assessment of the cervical, dorsal and lumbar spine, static and dynamic. Assessment usually muscular, joint or tendon; allowing us to see the cause of the pain and to proceed with the appropriate treatment.
